Hyunseok Yoo

Violin teacher

Hyunseok Yoo was born in 2005 in Seoul, South Korea, and began playing the violin at age 5.
From 2017 to 2022, he did junior studies with Prof. Nam-Yun Kim at the Korea National University of Arts. Since 2022 he has been studying with Prof. Lena Neudauer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
He gained experience on an international level at master classes of renowned artists as well as at the Ishikawa Music Academy and Pyeong Chang Music Festival & School.
In recent years, he has won several prizes such as first prize at “Yewon Concours”, first prize at “The Journal of Music” and second prize at “Ewha & Kyung Hyang Concours”.
As a soloist, for example, he performed with the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the most renowned orchestras in Korea.
In the spring of 2023, he was accepted as a scholarship holder at “Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Munich” and as a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
